Reading My Bible

Have you ever had to go from one place to another in the dark? Ever had to do that without a flashlight? It can be scary, not knowing what may be ahead in the dark, not know which way to go. Carrying a flashlight is a very wise idea. That is what the Bible is like. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” For example, remembering that the Bible says, “God will always be with you” helps you not to be afraid. The Bible is like a flashlight that never needs batteries, but it does need to be read.
