Do you ever wonder how things came to be?
The Bible tells us in the book called Genesis (that means ‘beginnings’) that God was already here before anything was created. Genesis chapter 1 verse 1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” It is hard for us to understand God already being here before the world was created but He was. He didn’t need anyone to create Him.
Sit down in a quiet place and try to read all of Genesis chapter one. Use a pencil and carefully tick off each verse as you read it.
