God’s Awesome Power in Creation
Reading My Bible
Read Genesis 1:3-8
First, God created light and darkness. Then God looked over what He had made. God saw the light and the dark and said they were good. That was the first day. The next day He made sky and put a lot of the water above the sky in the clouds. He said that was good too. Next time you are floating in water, look up to the sky and imagine there is nothing else. If you have a very good imagination (and mom’s permission) you might be able to do this in the bathtub. Isn’t God awesome! Psalm 19 verse 1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands.”
