God’s Awesome Power in Creation
Reading My Bible
Read Genesis 1:9-19 today.
On the third day God told dry land to appear out of the water and then for trees and plants to cover the dry land. On day four He created the sun, moon, stars, planets, and galaxies.
What did God use to make everything? God made everything out of nothing! Hebrews 11:3 says, “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” God is so powerful He did not need to use anything to make the universe. Make a picture for your notebook. Can you place the paper on the table and tell the picture to appear? No, we do not have the power to do such a thing! God does.
