Reading My Bible

Today read Genesis 2:18-22

Adam had a beautiful garden to care for. He was responsible for all of the plants, the birds, the fish and animals but he was the only person on the whole planet. God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Genesis means beginnings, and in verse 21 we read about the first operation. God put Adam into a deep sleep and took out a rib and closed up the place where He took it from and then...God used the rib to make a woman. Now Adam had someone to be with him.

Did you ever think about how God thinks about you? God loves you so much! He created you and knows all about your life. God knows about the things that you need too. Tonight, before you go to sleep, talk to God about what is going on in your life about the things that you need. Add a page to your notebook with the things you talk to God about.
