Was that all that happened because of sin?

Reading My Bible

Read Genesis 3:17-24

Adam and Eve had broken God’s Laws. God told them that life would be very hard now and that they must leave the beautiful Garden of Eden to work the ground. Then God made clothes for Adam and Eve out of animal skins. One or two of the animals had to die so that Adam and Eve would have warm clothes to wear. It must have been very sad: to know that all the world had changed because of what they had done, to know that they could no longer live in the beautiful garden, to know that the skins came from innocent animals that had not broken God’s laws. God put angels on guard with a flaming sword so that no one could come and eat from the Tree of Life and live forever.

It was a very sad day, but God has a plan so that we do not have to take the consequences for sin forever. We will read about that tomorrow. You could make another picture for your notebook. Draw Adam and Eve leaving the garden.
