Read Matthew 8:23-27

In Luke 2:52, the Bible says, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men.”

The Lord Jesus grew to be a man. As a child and as a grown up He never broke God’s laws. After the Lord Jesus was tempted in the wilderness He began the work that His Father, God, had sent Him for. The Lord Jesus read the scrolls of the Bible in the synagogue, and He traveled from one town to another. He talked to the people about sins and about His Father, God. The Lord Jesus used His great power to heal many people who were sick and to forgive any who were sorry for their sin. Some people who didn’t believe that the Lord Jesus was the Saviour got angry. They were angry that He was teaching and healing and especially that He would tell people that their sins were forgiven. In Luke 4:43, the Lord Jesus said, “I must preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” Do you believe that the Lord Jesus is God’s Son? Would you like to ask Him to forgive your sin today? He will hear you when you talk to Him.

Talking To God
